Yoga - Union of souls

He woke up right before the alarm rang. The new routine had gifted him some blessings. Having a quality sleep and waking up early in the morning without having regret was one of them. While playing football, improvement in coordination between his eyes and legs was miraculous. 'Is Yoga really a magic?' He exclaimed sometimes. Soon after he took part in Yoga Summer course organized by Yoga Vidya Niketan, he realized it's a lifestyle that everyone should follow and the aftereffects would be magical. He remembered on the very first day he was able to enjoy only relaxation position. Every other posture was too much for him. But the magicians - his yoga teachers helped him and the entire bunch of disciples enjoy even the most difficult yoga postures. They taught the art of feeling the sensation of 'Chaitanyasana' in every yoga postures. Teachers were motherly who with affection and care enabled them to control their body mind and soul with the techniques of Yoga. B...

Dawn to dusk

Image
It was dark out there. Sky had worn a thick grey blanket with holes in it. Stars blinked through the holes at times. It was time for rebirth of sun who had a miniature death last evening when he immersed himself into sea. Sun started to walk on his four legs with a paintbrush on one of his hands. As he stepped up from sea to sky, he dipped paintbrush on a dark red paintbucket and applied on the folds of the blanket that sky had worn. As he grew he kept changing the color of paint from dark red to orange to golden yellow. As he grew as a teenager, sun took a shining sword and tore the blanket apart. He showered romance and warmth on earth. Their love flourished with time. Earth was all set to celebrate rebirth of her lover. She vaporized layers of snow from her body. Water droplets on grass smiled back reflecting the universe in sunlight. Their children cried for food. Earth brought water and sun brought light for their elder children - algae, plants and trees - to do photosynth...

Missing...

Your absence... Scribbled lines on my heart All the blood droplets Had a story to tell About our romance Your memories... Soothed all the scribbles As if clove on teeth sore Letting me forget all the pain

You

I'm the air, you are the force who makes me breeze I'm the kite, you are the thread who makes me fly I'm the shore, you are the wave who makes me tender I'm the bud, you are the spring who makes me flower I'm the larva, you are the time who makes me butterfly I'm nothing, you are the one who makes me everything

Indifference

At some point you realize how opposite things look no different. There's a finite line in between but you know it's no longer relevant. You  no longer want to notice the difference. Like the sky and the sea when they are the bluest, you know one owns blue and the other reflects  but those look all the same. Like light and darkness at its thickest stage, both make you blind. You can't see things with your eyes but with your heart. Like silence and chaos, you are too tired to listen to surroundings but inner self. Like love and hate, when you are healed you realize these are nothing but illusion. Like pain and happiness at its best, both don't affect you at all. The line melts the way opposite colors do in a painter's canvas, you are lost to feel the difference. Like you and the universe, when you know the secret, you realize you are within the world and the world is within you. Like life and death, when you see enough of them, you can't differentiate where...

Devkund - A get over journey

Image
Everyone wishes Sunday mornings are extended till noon especially when Saturday nights are sleepless. You've got no option left but wakeup as you already had planned a trekking with roomies. Everything was as per plan except we woke up an hour late. Planned royal breakfast had to be cut down to minimal idli wada south Indian package. We rushed to zoom car pickup point crossing thin rainy threads. Red Swift was a good option for the ride. Without wasting time we started our drive off to Devkund falls. Rain was turning heavier as the journey progressed. 'First cut is the deepest' of Bryan Adams was rhythmically poking my heart with a pointy knife. I was enjoying the solitude filled with thickest pain even though I was surrounded by my best buddies. I'd myself created a bubble of loneliness to camp inside. Nature is a magician I thought, it paints the surroundings different shades of green using colorless raindrops. Only time helps nature do this. I hoped time w...

Half a heart

On a fine day he fell in love with out knowing how deep can he go. Day by day depth was  increasing. Another fine day he realised that the pit was as deep as the diameter of earth That he was not getting buried in the darkness but was getting raised to the illumine of sky at the other end. He realized that he was not falling down to the hell of cupidity but flying up to the heaven of sanctity. He realized that he didn't fall for a bitch but for an angel. He realized that he was not cursed but heavily blessed by the almighty. . . . . . In a battle between head and heart, his head took a lead wounding the heart. When ego grins with all its might wonderful things in life don't last. It took a while his heart to heal but too late for her heart to feel. He paid the debt for little things but that was not enough to win. He let the prettiest soul leave when it was time to hold that tight. He lost the spring, his charm and calm, what's left with him is half a he...
